Community Month - "Radiate God's Love..."

It is the joy of second year students of theology at SHTC to organize community month. And so it is on 20th of April, 2017 that we inaugurated the month with a list of important activities. The entire community (staff and students) is divided into six groups.

On the inaugural day the major activities were hoisting the flag and unveiling the community notice board and of course the Olympic torch the added more colour to the show.  
Each group came out creative and innovative march past, the yell and the group presentation. It was simply wonderful to see how the were active and interested.

Pillow fight and tug of war drew everyone's ribs to laugh and enjoy.
Thus the month was inaugurated with full gusto and justo...

The theme of the month is "RADIATE GOD'S LOVE" and there was a wonderful anthem composed and tuned based on this theme.

Today seeking meaning in life is a common phenomenon that we all come across. Now it is sought in things, gadgets, celebrities, movies, sports, drinks, music, business and what not. Thus we have reached a state where meaning is to be found very instantly and immediately. The picture aptly depicts the attitude of today’s new generation where meaning is to be found totally out side the self and end up terribly disappointed, discouraged and disgusted. Some prominent examples can be that of Michael Jackson, Whiney Houston, Marilyn Monroe and Tiger Woods etc. What was missing in their life? What could be the reason why they failed to strike the balance between life/career and meaning? In this multimedia era finding meaning is very crucial and challenging. Sorry! Dear Future Generations...!

We belong to earth and earth does not belong to us. My kind thoughts on mother earth, my humble pronounce to you... The almighty had a dream to create a beautiful palace in the cosmos; the thoughts blossomed, it was self a revolving beauty with mighty oceans, blue skies, green trees, long rivers, huge mountains, wonderful creatures and human beings the most significant one. As we know this from the book of Genesis that God created everything and human being as the crown of creation. But something has gone wrong...   We used EARTH as a credit card with no spending limit.
